Our client is a global satellite company providing connectivity to millions of people around the world. This company is launching a new geostationary satellite constellation and required comprehensive ground infrastructure to transmit and receive data traffic and backhaul it to their data centres. We delivered multiple receiving stations with power and high-capacity carriage to each site, and colocation in regional fixed network facilities sites and third-party metro data centres.
How we work
Site acquisition, preparation and construction
We offer many existing fixed network sites with fibre connectivity across Australia and we can procure or lease greenfield sites. All environmental assessments, site surveys and building applications are carried out by us. We deliver a level, cleared area with uninterrupted access into space at defined angles and can construct the foundations for satellite antennas.
Site management
Our sites are fully fenced with secure controlled access and optional surveillance camera monitoring. With high power resilience and 99.99% availability, we offer various service level assurances, including for outages and response times. You can accommodate network and data processing equipment in racks either onsite or in local exchanges.
Connectivity
Choose from multiple options and diverse paths, including low latency network connectivity access. You also have the option of fibre connectivity between your point of presence and landing station, including wavelength services and cross-connects.
