The image shows a structured overview of the Telstra InfraCo API suite. APIs are grouped into five functional families: Product Availability, Quote, Order, Service Management and Diagnostics.
APIs are further categorised as Main, Support, or Product Specific APIs. The diagram is informational and does not represent a sequence or workflow.
APIs are designed to correct address details, validate product availability and provide accurate pricing inputs - reducing order errors and improving the quality of quotes and service data.
Customers can generate quotes, feasibility studies and place orders directly via their own systems, reducing swivel‑chairing and supporting faster fulfilment.
From prospecting to service delivery, APIs apply business rules, collect required data upfront and reduce the number of integration points, which can result in reduced effort and improved workflow efficiency.
Order progress, outages, diagnostics, and notifications (push/pull) keep systems continuously aligned and support proactive customer communication.
Diagnostics, outage checks, ticketing and service inventory APIs support faster fault identification, automated testing and greater accuracy when verifying service details.
Automation, consolidated API flows (e.g., Prospect‑to‑Service) and reduced manual effort are designed to support reduced integration costs and scalable, long‑term efficiency gains.

| API | Description |
| Address Search API | Search and retrieve address details using both structured or unstructured address search, ADBorID, NBNLocationID or geolocation coordinates. |
| Product Offering Qualification API | Obtain available wideband product offerings at a specified location based on service and infrastructure availability. Aligned to TM Forum (TMF679) specification. |
| Quote API | Obtain simple quotes (non-binding) for an Ethernet Access (EA) or Managed Lease Line (MLL) service that cover the contracted charges and indicative upfront costs (if available). You may also request a finalised feasibility study if a more detailed quote is required (charges may apply). |
| Order API | Place orders for an Ethernet Access or Managed Leased Line service and retrieve order notifications. Aligned to TM Forum (TMF622) specification. |
| Service Qualification API | Obtain the NBN service types available at a particular address. Both Simple & Enhanced SQ are supported by this API. |
| Prospect to Service API | Enables capabilities from prospecting through to service delivery for White Label Internet and Wholesale Business Internet (TC4, Telstra Fixed Wireless, and Mobile Backup). Capabilities include:
|
| Number Portability API | Check whether the queried fixed line voice service number is eligible for port-in to the Telstra Network. |
| Ticket Management API | Create, Update and Manage your tickets: Faults, Enquiries, Complaints, Feedback. |
| Outage Detail API | Identify impacted services due to a planned or unplanned Telstra Network outage based on available outage data. This includes Major Outage alerts as well as System and API outage notifications. |
| Diagnostics API | Determine and execute the available diagnostic tests for Wideband, NBN and Copper services to identify the primary cause of issues the service is experiencing. This includes Network Schematics. |
| Service Inventory API | The Service Inventory API provides the Service Name, Address and Product details for a valid Service number. It also provides a full list of EA and MLL Head-End Services. |
| Push Notification API | The Push Notification API publishes Order, Ticket, Diagnostic and appointment notification messages to subscribed URLs based on customer subscription preferences. |
| Pull Notification API | The Pull Notification API can be used for reconciliation by retrieving notifications. |
| Notification Preference API | The Notification Preference API can be used to set the notification types (Order, Ticket, Diagnostic or Outage), URLs and security preference details for push notifications sent to you by Telstra InfraCo. |
| Attachments API | The Attachments API is designed to store, retrieve, update and delete attachments. This API can be used to upload artefacts as part of the Order API or Ticket Management API. |
An API (Application Programming Interface) is a code-based interface that allows two software systems to communicate with each other. It is the bridge that allows different systems to talk to each other in a safe, structured, predictable way.
What does an API do?
How can you use APIs?
Our digital infrastructure APIs support quoting, ordering, and service management across a broad range of products, including Ethernet Access, Wavelength, Managed Lease Line, Wholesale Business Internet, Aura services (Aura Wavelength, Aura Direct Spectrum, Aura Dark Fibre), Dark Fibre, Direct Spectrum, and Telstra Wholesale Internet. Select capabilities are also available for Wholesale Business Internet, Telstra Wholesale Internet and Dark Fibre.
Build costs associated with APIs can vary depending on your organisation’s capabilities and size. The cost will depend on whether you have an internal development team or need to bring in an external developer.
The Telstra InfraCo onboarding process is designed to provide customers and partners with a clear, guided pathway from initial engagement through to operational readiness, supporting how you use Telstra InfraCo digital products and services. As part of onboarding, customers are supported with access setup, role and authentication alignment, and integration readiness, including the requirement to provide source IP addresses for security controls such as IP allow‑listing. During development, we provide technical guidance, solution design input, and access to comprehensive supporting material, including API Swaggers, Postman Collections, and related documentation, all of which are centrally available via the Telstra Developer Portal. This collaborative engagement continues through testing and early operational readiness to identify issues early and support solutions.
